At Oldfield Primary School all pupils, irrespective of their background or the challenges they face, make good progress and achieve high attainment across all subject areas. We are committed to “Narrowing the Gap” between non-pupil premium children and pupil premium children and the Pupil Premium forms a vital part of the process.

Every year, school receives an allocation of money called Pupil Premium Funding. The money is given to school to help support children who receive the Free School Meal benefit (or have done in the past 6 years) or Looked After Children. We use this money to help close the gap between non-pupil premium children and pupil premium children by setting up key interventions, enrichment activities and extra support.

Oldfield Primary School publish our Pupil Premium Strategy Statement which details how we spend the money, the impact it has on school and why it is so important. For detailed information regarding expenditure and impact over the last three years, please see the Pupil Premium Reports below.

Our school is committed to promoting healthy, active lifestyles through the effective use of the PE Premium funding. This grant supports the enhancement of our physical education program by providing additional resources, staff training, and extracurricular activities. The goal is to improve the quality of PE lessons, increase student participation in sports, and encourage lifelong fitness habits.
