Oldfield Primary School & Nursery part of the Brontë Academy Trust

Putting Children First

Part of Bronte Academy Trust

Welcome to Oldfield Primary & Nursery-

Part of the Bronte Academy Trust along               with Oakworth, Haworth and Lees Primaries.

Welcome to Oldfield Primary School and Nursery. We are a part of the Bronte Academy Trust along with Oakworth, Haworth and Lees. The school became a new school on June 1st 2019. Although a very individual and unique member of the Bronte Trust, we work closely with our sister schools. This means our children never miss out of the opportunities a larger setting can also offer. The children at Oldfield get the best of both worlds!

Oldfield is a very special school  (The smallest in Bradford) situated in a stunning rural location, above the Bronte moors, just outside Oakworth. Our class sizes are below national averages, with excellent highly trained support and teaching staff. This means all our children receive the best education possible. We take children from Nursery upwards on a 30 hour place offer as soon as they are three.  15 hour places are also available.

As we are a small school, we get to know all our families and children extremely well. Oldfield is one big family, working together. We offer a full and exciting curriculum with the highest aspirations for all our learners. Reading is at the heart of all we do and the curriculum is designed around high quality and inspiring texts. Our children also benefit from specialist PE and forest schools. Our curriculum is strong, exiting and ever changing to keep learning alive!

We welcome visitors at any time to see why Oldfield really is, the place to be!

We look forward to meeting you soon.
